THE GOOD GUYS
Kai
Age: 19 years old
Species: Human
Brought to Red Hill village as a baby by her mother, Kai has lived there all her life. Sadly, Kai’s mother passed away when she was 3 years old.
Kai works as a shop assistant for her adopted uncle Sev Jundland, the local merchant of Red Hill Village. Though she has always dreamed of someday travelling the world beyond the village’s surrounding forest, she stays because she would feel too guilty about turning her back on the man that raised her since the loss of her mother.
Fun fact: Kai doesn’t know her last name. She can’t remember it and her mother never told anyone in the village.
Fourbee
Age: ???
Species: ???
Some kind of mechanical creature found underground by Kai and her friend Jeena, Fourbee is a mystery. Kai feels a strange connection to it(him?), and is desperate to find out how they are connected.
Though Fourbee only communicates in a strange series of sounds, for some reason, Kai seems to understand him just fine.
Fun fact: Fourbee’s favourite colour is blue.
THE BAD GUYS
Sami Velasarad
Age: 37 years old
Species: Lithe Aelvean
A ruthless hunter for hire, Sami is tasked with finding the lost tekMage, a device of unknown power. While the pay for the job is considerable, the information from the client is not. She’s done more with less though, and eventully tracks down a lead to Red Hill. Armed only with the name Eva, she hopes to find whatever the tekMage is, and return it to her client for payment.
Fun fact: Sami is ambidextrous.
Brias Brakka
Age: 27 years old
Species: Strong Aelvean
One half of the infamous Brakka Bruddas, a criminal duo wanted in over 12 provinces. Brias likes to think of himself as the smarter brother, but that is yet to be determined. Both he and his brother were hired by Sami to help find the tekMage. Brias’s weapons of choice are his fists.
Fun fact: Brias and Kensho are twins.
Kensho Brakka
Age: 27 years old
Species: Strong Aelvean
The other half of the infamous Brakka Bruddas. His chosen weapon is a giant broadsword, that he has named ‘Calamity’ (Cally for short!). He also likes to think of himself as the smarter brother.
Fun fact: Kensho likes to sing in the bathtub.
THE OTHER GUYS
Severin Jundland
Age: 63 years old
Species: Human
Sev is owner and operator of Red Hill’s one stop shop for foods and supplies. Even though he didn’t know Kai’s mother that well, when she died, he took Kai in and raised her, promising to make sure she was safe. As she grew up, he trained her as an assistant to help him run his shop.
Fun fact: In his younger days, Sev used to be a hunter.
Jeena Tarin
Age: 8 and a 1/2 years old
Species: Human
A young, adventurous girl that loves to explore the forest surrounding Red Hill. She knows that she shouldn’t go too far, but sometimes, curiosity gets the better of her. Luckily her best friend Pesh is usually around to reign her in.
Fun fact: Jeena wants to be an explorer when she grows up.
Pesherall Bith
Age: 8 years old
Species: Aelvean
Nowhere near as brave or adventurous as Jeena, this still doesn’t stop them from being best friends. If Jeena’s in trouble however, you better believe that Pesh will do his best to help!
Fun fact: Pesh and Jeena have known each other since they were babies.
